Family Mediation - Care of and contact with children

The history of relationships, the issues that precipitate separation, and the pain and anger that can continue long after separation occurs, can make it difficult for parents to focus on the best parenting arrangements for their children. When agreement cannot be reached, in most cases, Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) is required before parents can apply to the Family Court.

As an independent professional, Sharon works with families to resolve the issues that can get in the way of them agreeing on a plan for care and contact that is in the best interests of their children.  Sharon Stewart is a Ministry of Justice approved provider of FDR services to mediate care and contact arrangements for children and families.
